The Diocese of Beauvais, Noyon and Senlis has unveiled a project to renew the liturgical furnishings of Saint Peter’s Cathedral in Beauvais, with the design and creation entrusted to the artist Goudji.
The new ensemble will include a permanent altar, a suspended cross, an ambo (lectern) and a bishop’s chair (cathedra). Its installation will also involve the reorganisation of the cathedral’s choir.
Estimated at €501,000, this project is entirely led by the diocese, which is launching a fundraising campaign to help finance it.
