Following the success of its first edition, the Christian Book Fair will return to Beauvais Cathedral on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026.
Organised as part of the celebrations marking the 800th anniversary of Beauvais Cathedral, this event will once again bring together authors, publishers, speakers and readers to celebrate Christian literature, spirituality, history, heritage and the transmission of faith.
A Weekend of Encounters and Discovery
Over the course of two days, visitors will have the opportunity to:
- meet a wide range of authors presenting their latest books;
- attend book-signing sessions;
- engage in discussions with writers and publishers;
- take part in lectures and talks;
- discover recent publications on Christianity, Church history, sacred art and religious heritage.
Whether you are passionate about religious history, interested in cultural heritage, an enthusiastic reader or simply curious, the fair offers an excellent opportunity to discover inspiring books and meet the people behind them.
A Unique Setting
Few venues could provide a more fitting backdrop for such an event than Beauvais Cathedral. Beneath the soaring Gothic vaults of one of Europe’s most remarkable medieval monuments, books and ideas meet eight centuries of history, art and spirituality.
This second edition forms part of the celebrations marking the cathedral’s 800th anniversary, offering visitors yet another opportunity to discover—or rediscover—one of the masterpieces of Gothic architecture.
